What

MediSight is a Meta Ray-Ban Display prototype for first-aid training scenarios. The demo places concise instructions, task state, and emergency prompts directly over the scene so the wearer can keep working without looking down at a phone.

Why

First-aid moments punish context switching. Even in training, the useful question is not “Where is the information?” but “What is the next safe action?” A wearable display can keep that next action in the user’s line of sight while their hands stay occupied.

Role

Obstinate designed and prototyped the interface language, the instruction hierarchy, and the scene-aware presentation style for a hands-busy wearable workflow.

Interaction

The flow is intentionally narrow: identify the task, show one clear instruction, keep secondary context available, and provide simple controls for back, repeat, and exit. The interface does not try to become a full manual in the user’s face.

Value

MediSight explores how MRBD can support high-pressure training by reducing phone checks, keeping guidance close to the action, and making the display feel like a calm prompt instead of another device demanding attention.

Note

This is a prototype and training concept. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a replacement for professional emergency response.
